When I'm sprinting fast enough and hold the crouch key, I can slide across the ground. This lets me build momentum quickly going down stairs and squeeze through tight spaces like a pro.

If I jump while touching a wall mid-air, I can kick off it to change direction or gain height. I can do this twice before I need to touch the ground again (unlimited in Zen and Reprieve, four times with the 10-Point Crampons trait). I have to be sprinting to pull this off though.

Sliding down stairs and slopes is one of my favorite ways to build momentum. The game loves to chain stair rooms together, so I can keep that speed going for ages.

If I try to slide while underwater, I'll dash forward in whatever direction my camera is facing. It's a great way to move quickly through water levels.

When I'm underwater and press crouch without sprinting, I'll dash straight down. It's perfect for quickly getting to the bottom of a pool or avoiding enemies below me.

This one's exclusive to Reprieve. If I slide where the floor meets a wall, I'll get launched upwards like I hit a spring. It's a great way to reach high places quickly.

If I jump right as I start sliding, I get a little speed boost. It's not much, but every bit helps when I'm trying to move fast.

If I keep jumping while sliding and don't hold sprint, I lose less speed from friction. This lets me maintain my slide momentum for way longer than usual.

When I slide while mid-air, I'll accelerate downwards really fast like I'm diving. It's perfect for getting to the ground quickly or making a dramatic entrance.

I can air-pound multiple times while in the air, and each one adds more downward speed. It's like stacking dive boosts to go even faster.

Here's a trick I love: slide, release sprint, then jump into an obstacle. If I do it right, I'll get launched super high. The more momentum I have, the higher I go. I need a perfect trimp to reach those Key Crowns. The Pyscho - RiftRaft slide skin makes this way easier too.

When I'm sprinting, if I air-pound and then jump as soon as I touch the ground, I get a nice speed boost. It's a bit tricky to time, but it's worth it for that extra speed.

If I keep sliding and running repeatedly, I get a small speed boost that can replace regular running. Binding crouch to M1 and spam-clicking makes this way easier. It's the slowest of all the speed tricks, but it's still useful sometimes.

With the Rosary Ring trait equipped, if I spam the crouch key really fast while moving forward, I'll zoom through the map at insane speeds. It builds up speed in just seconds, but I have to be careful not to overdo it. In speedrunning, macros using this are only allowed in TAS runs.

When I wall-kick, I get a small speed boost in whatever direction I'm moving with WASD. It's a great way to start a chain of bunny-hops.
When I wall-kick, any vertical speed I have (like when I'm falling) gets converted into forward speed. This can give me a speed boost ranging from slight to powerful.

In a long enough room, I can hold W, jump, wall-kick, then instantly hold slide. I release and face the wall, wall-kick again, and go back to sliding. This gives me a nice little speed boost.

In a room with short walls, I can hold W and either A or D, then wall-kick twice without sliding. This gives me a slight speed boost and feels really cool to pull off.

Darting is all about converting vertical momentum into horizontal momentum. I use trimping or corner climbing to get up high, then wallbounce while holding W. I hold slide for 1-2 seconds, then start holding A/D to hug the closest wall. Letting go of slide and wallbouncing again lets me gain even more speed, especially when combined with bunny-hopping.

When I'm darting, if I land on top of a wall and jump off immediately, I can continue darting. This recharges my wall hops so I can do even more consecutive darts.

If I align myself perfectly flat in a corner, walljump while holding W, then slide right after, I can gain insane speed. It's a bit inconsistent and takes some luck, but using the Hyperagape and Drift King slide animation helps make it more reliable.

When I'm in a corner, I hold W and the direction of the wall. I jump and do a quick series of wall jumps to climb over it. Using the 10-Point Crampons trait makes this way easier.
To honk-dart, I need the honk trait. I dart normally, but when my slip line is full, I press S, slide, then hold W. This gives me extra momentum because every backwards slide gives a speed boost.

I can skip Carnation in the tutorial and possibly the third encounter in saferoom 1 by ignoring hiding spots and going straight to a saferoom. It depends on getting short rooms, but having the Rosary Ring trait helps with that speed boost from the Love meter.
